The short version: your lists are yours. They live on your device and in your own iCloud account, they are shared only with the people you choose, and ETH0 Apps never receives any of it.
Introduction
ETH0 Apps built Our Fave's List as an iOS application for keeping and sharing restaurant lists. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Information Collection and Use
ETH0 Apps does not collect any personally identifiable information or usage data through Our Fave's List. ETH0 Apps does not operate any servers for the app and does not receive your lists, restaurants, notes, photos, or files.
Content you create. The app stores the lists you create and the restaurants you add to them, along with the details you choose to keep: statuses, flags, the dates you ate somewhere, notes, list cover photos, and photos or files you attach. This content is stored on your device and in your private iCloud account, as described under Data Storage.
Restaurant search. When you search for a restaurant, the search is performed by Apple Maps. Your search text and the area of the map you are searching are sent to Apple to return results, under the Apple Privacy Policy. Restaurant details such as address, phone number, and website come from Apple Maps. ETH0 Apps does not receive your searches.
Location information. If you allow it, the app uses your device's location to center the map on where you are and show restaurants nearby. Your location is used on your device for this purpose only and is never transmitted to ETH0 Apps. You can change or turn off location access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Our Fave's List.
Photos and files. The app accesses only the photos and files you choose to attach. Attachments stay with your data: they are stored with the restaurant or list they belong to, and they are included when you share that list with other people.
Apart from the content you create and the uses described above, the app does not collect or access:
- Names, email addresses, or contact information
- Device or advertising identifiers
- Usage analytics
- Photos, files, or other content on your device that you have not chosen to attach
- Health, financial, or biometric data
Sharing Your Lists
Sharing is always your choice. Nothing in a list is shared with anyone until you decide to share it. When you do, Our Fave's List uses Apple's iCloud sharing to deliver the list to the people you select. You can invite people to edit a list with you, or share it read-only so they can view it without making changes.
People you share a list with can see everything in it, including restaurants, statuses, notes, dates, cover photos, and attachments. As part of iCloud sharing, Apple may also show them your name or the email address or phone number associated with your Apple Account. Likewise, when you accept an invitation to someone else's list, the owner and other participants can see your identity in the same way. People with edit access can add, change, or remove items in the list.
Shared lists are sent only to Apple's iCloud servers for delivery to the people you have chosen. ETH0 Apps does not receive any shared content. You can stop sharing a list or remove a participant at any time; they will lose access going forward, but they may already have seen or saved what was shared.
Data Storage
Your lists are stored on your device and in your private iCloud account, which keeps them in sync across devices signed in to the same Apple Account. The data in any list you share is stored in iCloud and made available to the other users you designate. No information is shared externally until you direct it to be shared, and ETH0 Apps does not receive any of it.
iCloud data is handled by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy and your iCloud settings. Deleting the app removes its data from that device, but your lists remain in your iCloud account until you delete them in the app or remove the app's data through your iCloud storage settings.
Third-Party Services
Our Fave's List does not integrate with, embed, or rely on any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or tracking tools. The app uses Apple's built-in services, Apple Maps for maps and restaurant search and iCloud for sync and sharing, which Apple operates under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The app does not use cookies, web beacons, pixels, device fingerprinting, or any other tracking technologies.
Children's Privacy
Because ETH0 Apps does not collect any data from any user, it does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or any other age). Because lists can be shared with other people through iCloud, parents may wish to review how younger users share their lists.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
ETH0 Apps may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, within the app, or on the App Store listing. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes are effective when posted.
Your Rights
Since ETH0 Apps does not collect any personal data, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, delete, or port. You control your data directly: edit or delete lists and restaurants in the app, stop sharing a list at any time, manage location access in iOS Settings, and manage your iCloud data through Apple.
